Milton Friedman - Collectivism
Collectivism is a bit too ideal, and this video is an outdated excerpt, and not all accurate, but it's a thread to what i believe is necessary for human progress: not forgetting that ultimately we are all the same - and our needs firstly are identical, and our ambitions and goals, however different, must not be at the absolute cost of pain or oppression of another.
Free thought can only truly reside in free living, which can only happen in a free world, but ultimately that can only happen in a free and equal society.
the only problem is that the taste of success often brings with it the feeling of supreme power, thus dividing the people.
the solution to me seems, an objectively-controlled environment which governs the society, and allows the rich to remain rich, yet holds them responsible/liable to enable the less rich to have opportunity and affordable health and education.
that's all.
the only problem here, and of course it remains evident from the beginning of time, is that those that have make sure those that don't never have enough.

Written in 1938 for the newly founded State
Jazz Orchestra of Victor Knushevitsky, and premiered on 28 November
1938. The score was lost during World War II, but a piano score of the
work was rediscovered in 1999 by Manashir Yakubov. Three movements of
the suite were reconstructed and orchestrated by Gerard McBurney, and
were premiered at a London Promenade Concert in 2000. Until recently,
another 8-movement Suite by Shostakovich had been misidentified and
recorded as the 2nd Jazz Suite. This work is now correctly known as the
Suite for Variety Orchestra (post-1956), from which "Waltz No. 2" was
made famous by the soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, and
which now seems irrevocably erroneously associated with the Jazz Suite
No. 2.

Known by her pseudonym Zohra El Fassia , the Moroccan Jewish female
artist was born in 1905, in Sefrou, near Fez, Morocco. She is considered
as one of the emblematic and pioneer figures of Malhoun, a Moroccan
authentic genre of music.
Zohra inaugurated her career by performing the Moroccan Malhoun in the 1920’s. She spent her 1960’s lifetime in Casablanca,
exactly in a house located at Sarah Bernard Street, where a large
number of neighbours used to attend her performances.
After
fulfilling a huge success, Zohra El Fassia left her native country
Morocco, to settle in Ashkelon, Israel, where she spent the rest of her
life.
Just like the rest of the Moroccan Jewish artists, Zohra did
not only bring her contribution to the Moroccan culture on the level of
the musical interpretation, but she also sang in the Arabic dialect.
Zohra El Fassia died in 1994, in Ashkelon, to leave behind an
ever-lasting heritage. In 2009, and on the frame of “Warchane Slam
L’Malhoun”, many great artists sang in tribute to the deceased, yet
eternal artist.
