Random thought i wrote down 2 weeks ago.
Ignorance is a rampant time bomb.
Arabs and Jews are brothers. Same father, two brothers... Ismael and Isaac. They are of the same blood, same cloth, they eat the same, look the same, but perhaps generally speaking they think differently because they have been raised differently, but different it surely is. Of course there are the extremists on either side, the loud ones who think their way is the right way, moreover the only way, hence the problem, which ricochets and grows until it is out of proportion, to riveting heights, where no rationale or logic are even present, and the customary behavior, the accepted practice is carried out systematically, with no personal thought, regard or conscience about their action or its consequence, and herein is the dilemma, they need only justify their cause, which is based on someone else's notion of God, which is now unquestioned, intrinsically dormant, and followed by many, automatically, dogmatically. And so here we are, and we ask ourselves what to do. But whatever we choose and decide to do, we cannot abuse our humanity, harm or kill someone, for we are NOT soldiers, we are not on the battlefield - until we make it one!
Ignorance is a rampant time bomb.

Most religions adopt the idea of a “savior” and state that the world will remain filled with evil until this savior comes and fills it with goodness and righteousness.
Maybe our problem on this planet is that people expect someone else to come solve their problems instead of doing it themselves!

War on Israel, on democracy, on humanity.
Unfortunately, the longer a story is told the more true it becomes, until it is the absolute truth, even to those who may doubt it. Thus evil prevails. No matter how grand one's anger may be, whatever unimaginable height it reaches, it cannot ever overtake you to the point where you are no longer sensitive to humanity, to the suffering experienced or inflicted on another, even an animal. Such behavior is called psychosis. Believe me, i understand like you that sometimes traumas and atrocities, whether personal or communal or national, can lead to such thoughts and desires, they may spill into your mind, seep through to your conscience, bleed over your soul, darkening your eyes and erupting in your veins, and maybe even by choice, but if you STOP for a moment and take in the actual consequence of your actions i trust that you would not remain so bitterly callused, surreptitiously consumed, so engaged and devoured by it as to begin or continue a mad quest to cause hurt and distress and annihilation. War is a part of our existence, and it is detrimental beyond words, leaving behind a profound trail of disastrous consequences, and instilling in future generations hatred and animosity to rehearse, manifest, and carry out instinctually, automatically, in perpetuity.
Sometimes it is in mandatory, as in self defense, and that also is unavoidably tragic. In order to make some sense of this tragedy, one needs to ask a single question, objectively: what is the motive for the aggressor, and the defender, and what are their goals thereafter. Whatever side is aiming for the progress of mankind, and the advancement of self-reliance, independence and prosperity, advocation for peace and mutual respect... that's the side you should be on. Look at facts, cease the hatred, stop this bickering and nonsense about things you know nothing about, enough with wanting to be an ugly part of something trendy popular and accepted by mediocracy... THINK FOR YOURSELF, and DO AS YOU WOULD WANT DONE TO YOU. It's as simple as that: when you behave a certain way, be aware that you behave in exactly the same way you want others to treat you.
The problem is only present when the person opposite you is not concerned with how you treat them, does not care for your respect, does not even want to continue living on earth alongside you. This obviously is an enemy of humanity. Think about that before you do something in their name, in their support, thereby hurting yourself and everyone ‘normal’ around you. People have been swept into a cesspool of ignorant or misguided hatred, and it's very dangerous and worrisome, and it is time to think clearly, even if it means thinking saying and doing things that are opposite of your friends, teachers, family. Be on the side of good, the good of all mankind.

Bridging the divide: 12 groups working for Israel-Palestine peace
I am definitely of the ‘fake it til you make it’ bunch, but I firmly believe we can do it, in spite of the doubt and anger still prominent in my heart and mind.
Despite the immense despair around us, and a perennial wave of turbulence, violence, conflict, and seemingly insurmountable pain, a beacon of goodness prevails, and undeniably wondrous hope exists on all sides, a bright torch born to withstand ignorant hatred and uproot evil at the source. In addition to these incredible individuals and organizations, we need brave religious leaders to preach togetherness and acceptance from deep inside the communities. As always with harsh beginnings, it will be hesitant and timid, but change will come by example, over time, and will happen with a unified spirit that embraces both Arabs and Jews.

Seems far-fetched, even ridiculous right now, and to some unfortunates perhaps it will always be. Whatever one believes, to abide by this rule takes endless intent, and practice. I hope most people become fortunate doing so, and succeed in living it. I admit I don’t always succeed, but I definitely try daily, and therefore succeed much more often.
