The first recording of this music was done in 1965, by the 'State Academic Russian Choir of the USSR'. Interestingly, it was not available for sale in Russia, and offered only outside the USSR.
Forgive the clicks and distortion at some points in this recording, where the choir peaks in volume, but by the time this happens you're enraptured so you just pass thru it. :)
