César Franck-Violin Sonata in A Major (Complete)

Weekend Playlist...
Yesterday was the birthday of Belgian composer
Cesar Franck (1822-1890), one of whose best-known works is a Violin
Sonata that he composed as a wedding gift for the Belgian violinist
Eugene Ysaye.

Supposedly, for a much better overall performance
(and audio quality) of that era, check out Erica Morini and Rudolf
Firkusny (released on the Decca label, in 1961).
