Bridget Kibbey plays à la française, by André Caplet
Today's Classical Corner... Caplet's A La Francaise, written in 1924.
Tragically, the gifted composer died quite young, caused initially by a gassing during WWI. He won the Prix de Rome in 1901 ahead of Maurice Ravel, and was a close friend and associate of Claude Debussy.
