I share this post, from someone else online. i remember seeing it a few years back - and loving it. And i very much still do!

Several years ago I sat next to this woman on a plane from Newark to DC.

We talked about our work (she’s an engineer, I write stories) and our kids (we each have two) and what we are watching on Netflix. (We both love Friends)

And then she asked where I’m from and I told her, whe I recognized her accent but asked anyway and she told me.

And we laughed and laughed and squeezed  hands and took a picture of our passports to remember that we met and that it was lovely. 

I hope she’s doing ok wherever she is.
