Franz Liszt La Campanella
Today's Classical Corner... Liszt's beautiful and passionate 'Little Bell'!
It is the 3rd of Franz Liszt's 6 Grand Paganini Etudes (1851). In G#Min, it is a revision of an earlier version from 1838, and its melody comes from the final movement of Niccolò Paganini's Violin Concerto #2 in BMin, where the tune was reinforced by a little handbell.
