R.I.P. South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela.
Sadly, Masekela passed away yesterday at the age of 78, after battling prostate cancer. Over his career, Masekela collaborated with many musicians, including Harry Belafonte, Herb Alpert, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Paul Simon, and his ex-wife, Miriam Makeba, to name but a few.
Your music and your concern for humanity will live on forever...
